Hi there! I'm Salena,

Your partner in healing, growing, and building a more authentic tomorrow

Do you ever find yourself saying “I’m fine” even when you’re actually struggling? You might be feeling overwhelmed, anxious, disconnected, or emotionally drained, which can make it easy to feel “stuck” or unsure about the future. But whether you know exactly what you want to work on in therapy, or have no idea where to start, I’m here to support you in bridging the gap between where you are and where you want to be.

Whether you’re working through anxiety, relationship patterns, low self-worth, or simply feeling stuck, we’ll work together to uncover what’s no longer serving you and replace it with strategies, tools, and mindsets that do. Progress here isn’t rushed or rigid - it’s shaped around you, with room to pause, reflect, and grow in a way that feels authentic and long-lasting!

1

Personalized Support

Therapy should feel like a space where you feel truly seen and understood - because your story is unique, and your path to healing should be too. That’s why I prioritize meeting you where you are, adapting the process as your needs and goals evolve.

2

An Integrative Approach

Different challenges require different solutions. By drawing on various evidence-based therapeutic modalities, we'll create a unique approach that meets you where you are, addresses present concerns, and supports a path toward the changes you want to see.

3

Commitment to Growth

We'll focus on progress that’s steady, meaningful, and built to last. That means celebrating what’s working, adjusting what’s not, and equipping you with practical tools that empower you to move through life with greater confidence, clarity, and resilience!

Personal Philosophy

“Your task is not to seek for love, but merely to seek and find all the barriers within yourself that you have built against it.”

- Rumi

At Atria, this philosophy gently guides our work together - removing what's in the way so you can reconnect with yourself, your relationships, and your sense of meaning.

Your heart and mind deserve to be heard. Let's bridge the path

from healing to thriving, together!

  • What is psychotherapy? and how does it work?
Psychotherapy is a collaborative process where a trained therapist helps individuals explore and address emotional, psychological, and behavioral challenges. It involves exploring your thoughts, feelings, and experiences in a safe and supportive environment. How it works: Initial Assessment: Your therapist will gather information about your challenges and goals. Therapeutic Techniques: Based on your needs, the therapist will use approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness-Based Therapy, Narrative Therapy (NT), Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), and more. Ongoing Sessions: You’ll work together to identify patterns, develop coping skills, and set goals for personal growth.
  • How often should I come to therapy?
Consistency is key, especially in the beginning. For most people, weekly sessions are recommended to build momentum and establish a strong therapeutic foundation. This frequency allows for steady progress and helps you stay focused on your goals. As therapy progresses, the frequency of sessions can be adjusted based on your needs and progress. You and your therapist will work together to determine the best schedule as you move forward.
  • What can I expect during the free 15-minute consultation?
During your free 15-minute consultation, you can expect an introductory conversation where we’ll discuss your reasons for seeking therapy, your goals, and any initial concerns you may have. This is an opportunity for you to ask questions about the therapy process, learn more about your therapists approach, and determine if you're a good fit to work together. It’s a low-pressure conversation designed to help you decide how best to move forward with your therapeutic journey!
  • What is your cancellation policy?
If you need to cancel or reschedule a session, we kindly ask for at least 24 hours' notice. This allows us to offer the time to someone else who may need it. Cancellations made within 24 hours will incur a cancellation fee. If you need to reschedule, we will do our best to accommodate a new time that works for you. To notify us of any scheduling changes, please free free to email us at atriapsychotherapy.info@gmail.com or call/text at 1-807-699-9858.
  • How many therapy sessions will I need?
The number of sessions varies depending on your goals, the nature of the concerns you are working on, and how frequently you want to meet. Research shows that, on average, clients report progress after 15-20 sessions. However, some individuals may benefit from longer-term support, especially when working through deeper issues or achieving more complex goals. In the beginning, your therapist will help you set goals and evaluate your progress. Together, you'll determine the best course of action and frequency based on your needs, adjusting as you move forward.
